She's a Broadway star and the wife of former tennis pro turned TV commentator Patrick McEnroe.

And now Melissa Errico is also being hailed as a hero after helping to rescue a man who fell onto subway tracks in New York City on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old mother of three told

She described how she a man on the tracks who was reaching up to two men trying to lift him up.

'I could see the two men giving up. They were letting him go.'

She then went to their aid and together the three managed to get the fallen man up and 광주 성형외과 onto the platform.

He was transported to a hospital and police say he is expected to male a full recovery, according to People. 

Next up for Errico will be performing the National Anthem on Sunday at the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament where her husband is among the commentators for ESPN.
